Serving West Palm Beach

It's a Saturday afternoon, and your child bites into something hard and suddenly can't stop wincing. Or maybe you've been putting off a nagging toothache, or you've wanted to replace a worn-out denture for months. Moments like these are why our team at Family Dental Care exists. We're a general dental practice serving West Palm Beach families, and we've built our office so that most of what you and your loved ones need can be handled under one roof, by people you already know.
Your first appointment with us starts with getting to know you. Before we recommend anything, we take time to understand your dental history, your concerns, and your goals. A dental exam and dental cleaning with our hygienist give us a clear picture of your oral health. We also include cavity detection and an oral cancer screening, so small issues are caught early, when they're usually easier to address.
From there, we walk you through what we found in plain language. If everything looks healthy, we'll talk about keeping it that way with options like fluoride treatment and dental sealants. If we spot something that needs attention, we'll explain your choices and help you decide what makes sense for your situation and timeline. We want every West Palm Beach patient to leave that first visit feeling informed, not overwhelmed.
Our team, led by Michael Westcott, DDS, and Sujay Trivedi, DMD, provides integrative, multidisciplinary care in a state-of-the-art facility. In practical terms, many treatments that might otherwise mean a referral across town can happen right here. For everyday needs, we offer dental fillings, crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays. When a tooth is infected or cracked, we perform root canal therapy on front teeth, premolars, and molars, and we can also retreat a tooth that had a root canal elsewhere.
Our care extends well beyond the basics. Depending on your needs, we can help with:
- Gum disease treatment, including scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and gum grafting
- Simple and surgical extractions, including wisdom teeth removal
- Dental implants, bone grafting, and full arch options such as All-on-X and implant-supported dentures
- Complete and partial dentures, plus repairs or replacements for existing dentures
- Clear aligners, including Invisalign, for both children and adults
- Cosmetic care such as porcelain and composite veneers, composite bonding, and in-office or take-home teeth whitening
For patients who feel nervous in the dental chair, we offer oral sedation dentistry to help you feel more at ease. For more complex cases, such as a full mouth reconstruction or smile makeover, we use tools like digital smile design and coordinate treatment planning carefully, so every step fits together.
Care for the Whole Family, Including Emergencies
We know that West Palm Beach families juggle busy schedules, so we try to make dental care one less thing to coordinate. We treat children, including children with special healthcare needs, and parents are always welcome in the treatment room. Having everyone see the same trusted team means we get to know your family's history over time.
When something unexpected happens, we're here for that too. Dr. Westcott and Dr. Trivedi both provide emergency dentistry, and we offer same-day emergency appointments for situations such as a cracked tooth, a knocked-out or injured tooth, or sudden, severe pain. If you're in discomfort, call us. We'll do our best to see you quickly and relieve your pain.
Aftercare, Insurance, and Getting Started
Treatment doesn't end when you leave our chair. We'll explain how to care for your teeth or restoration at home, and we'll schedule follow-ups that fit your needs, whether that's periodontal maintenance, implant maintenance, or routine checkups. If you grind your teeth at night, we can make a night guard to help protect your smile. If you finished orthodontic treatment somewhere else, we can also provide retainers.
We accept all major PPO insurance plans, and we're happy to help you understand how your benefits apply to your care. If you don't have insurance, we welcome self-pay patients as well, and we'll talk through costs openly before treatment begins. Many of our specialty services also don't require a referral, so you can contact us directly.
Getting started is simple. Give our office a call to schedule your first visit or let us know about a dental concern. In addition to West Palm Beach, we're proud to care for neighbors in Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. Wherever you're coming from, our team looks forward to meeting you and helping your family feel confident about your smiles for years to come.
Your Next Visit Starts Here
